Trolling Sinkers with 1 brass eye

Developed primarily for akule fishermen. The sinker is not symmetrical, it's heavier on one side. The brass eye is located on the smaller end, making casting easier with the heavier end taking the lead on the cast. Fishermen targeting opelu on the kayak also prefers this design of sinker. Rather than casting, the sinker is dropped down vertically, with the heavier end guiding the line towards the bottom. With its streamlined design, the sinkers are less affected by current compared to rounder, bulkier sinkers.
